Terms of Use:
Eligibility for participation and/or usage of the SportsLife complex facilities is dependent on a willingness to abide by the policies, procedures, and usage guidelines set up by First Baptist Church, Springdale.
Appropriate adult supervision will be required for minors to use the facilities.
First Baptist Church of Springdale (SportsLife) warns there are inherit risks of injuries by participating in sports activities like those held at the facilities of the SportsLife Complex. Participants should be certain they are healthy enough for activities of these types.
A fee schedule for usage for activities, will determined, as appropriate, by the SportsLife staff.
Use and operation of the concession stand and/or other equipment is limited to SportsLife staff or others approved by the SportsLife staff.
Should it be determined a group outside FBCS/CPH may use the facility, and for any reason SportsLife personnel will not be used to operate the concession stand, SportsLife will negotiate this usage with those parties involved.
Church members not involved in SportsLife programming may use the facilities if they agree to intentional ministry via that activity. SportsLife will provide one-on-one leadership training for those parties if necessary.
Church members will be allowed to use the facilities based on availability as determined by the SportsLife staff.
Pets, Alcohol, tobacco products, and firearms are strictly prohibited.
Scheduling “Practices”: Use of the facilities by church members may occur… IF
- There’s no conflict with any SportsLife or other church programs and/or those programs or preparations for those programs do not preclude their use.
- Appropriate payment for usage based on the current fee structure is met prior to the activity.
- The leaders will agree to build in some sort of “intentionality” or “purposeful” approach to ministry for participants. (The SportsLife staff will consider ideas from leaders submitting requests, including ongoing efforts– or is willing to train and offer options to leaders.) The facilities were constructed for the sake of ministry – so this intentionality and purposefulness is foundational to the mission of SportsLife.
Procedure for Scheduling Practices:
All requests to schedule the fields for practices must be made website request form including all requested information including: Age group; date(s); time(s); the plan to include an “intentional” or purposeful component of ministry; the facility or field requested; and names of the adult(s) that will responsible for the group requesting the space usage; and if necessary, how they are connected to FBCS/CPH.
All recurring requests must be renewed every other month.
SportsLife retains the right to grant permission for usage as staff deems appropriate.
48 hours Cancellation Policy: Any scheduled group must contact the SportsLife office to cancel their reservation at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled usage in order to retain their “reservation”, should it be a reoccurring reservation. In an effort to accommodate requests, the following steps will be taken in the event a group is not present for a scheduled facility usage.
A first time “no show” will result in any future reservations being cancelled and reopened for request by other groups or teams to schedule.
Groups or teams will be allowed only two cancellations which adhere to the cancellation policies. Following a second cancellation, any future reservations will be forfeited. That space and time will be reopened for request by other groups or teams to schedule.
Reservations and requests for use of facilities and registrations will be made through the SportsLife website www.sportslifenwa.net or www.fbcs.net/sportslife.
The SportsLife staff will determine the playability of conditions of all facilities and reserves the right to disallow use at anytime, as it deems appropriate, for the safety of participants, integrity of the facilities, church schedule or calendar.
Activities must conclude by 5:30 pm on Wednesdays or at other times determined when church programming, including SportsLife and/or other departments may be scheduled.
Activities will begin after 12:30 pm on Sundays and/or conclude by 5:30pm (Exceptions may be granted when no worship services and/or other Sunday evening activities are scheduled.)
Priority of use of the facilities is at the discretion of the SportsLife ministry staff and based on availability.
Cancellations for usage of facilities other than SportsLife programs must be made two weeks in advance.
A Director in Charge or an approved member volunteer must be present at all activities unless other arrangements have been made by SportsLife staff.
Activity other than SportsLife programs will be assessed an attendant/custodial fee of $50 to $250 depending on the activity. This fee structure is at the discretion of the SportsLife staff.

Cancellations will be accepted up to 2 weeks before the reservation date.
Cancellations within 2 weeks of reservation date will have a charge equal to one-half of the rental fee and shall be deductible from prepaid fees and deposits.
